yucatan with teens spring break
looking for a recommendation for all inclusive (with good food)so teen girls can have freedom and fun.Don't want lavish property. A nice beach would be great...shopping close by? exercize classes. any thoughts? Been to Playa Del Carmen and loved that.

Are you sure you want to give your teen girls "freedom and fun" over Spring break in that region? Sounds scary to me...
|
That area is really wild at Spring Break - I went on a college trip with girlfriends and don't think my parents would ever have let me go if they knew what it was like. I agree with hopefulist.

Not to mention, do you want to deal with hotels filled with crazy teenagers partying all night and hallways filled with vomit, etc?
|
Just to give you an idea of what it was like, when we would get into a cab, the drivers would offer to sell us drugs, and we'd say no thanks, and they would keep asking. When we would go to a restaurant, people were massively chugging and throwing their heads back while waiters poured alcohol straight into their mouths, and men/boys hit on us incessantly in a "hi, how you doin'?" sort of way. We were all underage at the time and had no problem getting all the alcohol we wanted - taking teens there for freedom and fun just doesn't sound like a good plan to me.

For the Yucatan with teenage girls, I recommend the Convent Route south of Merida.

I am well aware of the risks of teens in Mexico. thankyou for all your input....please if anyone has hotel recommendations particularly all inclusive, kindly reply.
