Thanks so much for the suggestions. I think I went to Uxmal and was impressed, though in one part of it, there were some steep steps that I was unable to navigate. Sitting while others explore is always a good option for me.

While it is probably a little further than where you want to go, Palenque is quite friendly for walking. It even has a wheel chair entrance. Mostly flat, level land around the main tower site, and the tower platform level does not require a lot of steps (compared to most).
