Wood crafts query - Costa Rica

Hi. We are doing a drive from Guanacaste to Arenal Volcano tomorrow. Just wondering whether there are any wood crafts - bowls, boards, figures, along the way that we could stop at - or in the area - we donít mind driving out of the way if there is a good one.

Thanks so much!

There's a wood and art gallery spot in La Fortuna, haven't been, but I hear good things about it. A Google search should turn it up. If you don't find anything you'd like, there are also woodcrafts available at the airport; we bought a beautiful salad bowl and tongs there.

Thanks! I’ll check it out. The airport has nice stuff, but a bit more pricey, so I thought it might be better to find something local. We will keep the airport as a last resort though. Thanks again.

Are you doing the Cano Negro tour at all? Our tour stopped at the Las Iguanas restaurant, and they had some nice crafts as well.
