Winery in Ensenanda...

Can you recommend a good winery? How do you get there?

There's some tasting rooms in Ensenada, but most of the wineries will be along highway 3 between Ensenada and Tecate, and there were at least 10 of 'em there about a year ago.

I write an article about doing the Baja winery trek. Check it out if you're into the vinos...

Gringo, GREAT ARTICLE on epinions.com! We are on a cruise and will have a full day in Ensenanda.
Should we just go into town and set up a tour to Guadalupe from there?
Thanks

It might not be easy to arrange a tour to this area, since it's basically a series of smaller wineries on a long stretch of road...it's a fun trek if you've got a car, but I'd be surprised if there were formal trips there out of Ensenada.

A better bet might be to visit the tasting rooms that are actually in Ensenada -- especially Santo Tomas. Just my thoughts, and I might be wrong about the tour thing...

Have fun!
