Ah, thank you for that clarification. And thank you for the early morning tip. I definitely selected my days to be in Mexico City for the Virgin of Guadeloupe festival. I am in MC through the 13th (the day after) and so am also considering visiting the church on that day.

I’m grwatly looking forward to the culture, the food and since it will be Virgin of Guadeloupe day when I’m there, hopefully some fantastic street festivals.

What it would be the 2 or 3 things I can’t miss in Mexico City?
My #1 thing in Mexico City is Ballet Folklorico at Bellas Artes. It’s spectacular. Do not miss it if you can help it.

Other top 2 items on my visit:

- Diego Murals at several venues but especially at Secretary of Education and National Palace.

- Day in Coyoacan including Frida Kahlo Blue House/museum, Trotsky House/museum, Coyoacan Market & Coyoacan town square.

Also enjoyed:
- Anthro Museum
- San Angel Market
- Friday Night Wrestling at Arena Mexico

Thank you to emd, plambers, salime and limmy for your input. I have many of your recommendations on my itinerary. I will also research the ballet.
