Which palace resort?

The Moon Palace resort is lovely but the beach isn't. It's full of seaweed, that they scoop up daily. We visited it when it first opened. The pool area was great but we didn't even want to go into the ocean, it was very unappealing. The Beach Palace has an eroded beach. When we visited the Cancun Palace (March), it was full of spring breakers (not what I would call romantic), but it did have a nice beach. We stayed at the SUn Place which was very nice, more adult oriented, although we were there with our kids. Some of the newer palace resorts look very nice. I think the Spa Palace is adults only, so that may be more romantic than one with families.

I stayed at Cancun Palace last July and I loved it. I actually got married on the beach there! I thought it was great, we had wonderful service, a great room and plenty of romance. But we also had many drinks and met lots of people. I am 30 and my husband is 26 and we met lots of people our age and a little older. Not a wild 'spring break' type crowd, but fun! I did go to Sun Palace one day and I agree, it is nice as well. I like the beach there better. Only because there is less people! That end of the hotel zone is further away from everythng, but it is a little more 'secluded' feeling!! I don't thik you could go wrong w/ either of these 2 Palaces!!

My wife and I have stayed at the Cancun Palace many times and we are going back this Fall for two weeks. We are not timeshare holders or affiliated with Palace Resorts but we have enjoyed our stays and we will continue to return until we find a better place.<BR>Peace !
