which hotel in Puerto Vallarta
 

Looking for an AI for 6 women in Nov/Dec. Have stayed in Nuevo which is beautiful but too far out. Still want to go into town for 2-3 meals. Looking at Dreams, LaJolla de Mismolaya and Marriott or Sheraton. Want good beach/pool area. Any thoughts?

Dreams has a fantastic location and beach. Of your 3 choices, I'd definitely choose Dreams. La Jolla is also a far ways from PV.

I'd also pick Dreams; located 5 mins. south of town.

Casa Magna Marriott has gorgeous pool area; it's located in the Marina.

Sheraton is the closest if you want to spend lots of time downtown PV.

I would pick either of those 3 over La Jolla de Mismolaya.

marriot is nice and close to the marina but i think the westin ia awesome.. its close to the marinaand the entertainment there and the pool is the best.. 5 dollars to downtown in a cab.. the other great thing to do is sailing on the gypsy spirit in the marina.. good day trip with a chef and crew.. cheap for what you get....check it out
