Where you quoted? How long to get book?
 

Dear Fodorites:

For those quoted in the new guide books, how long did it take to get one?

I was quoted in the PV book and requested a copy of the Utah book, since that will be our next destination. I requested several months ago and still no book. I will probably have to purchase the book now since our trip is in about 6 weeks. I have been holding off just in case.

I was quoted in a Paris book but still have not gotten my book. It has been months :(

I was quoted in the Australia book and the guidebook came very quickly. Why don't you email them to check when it was sent?

I was quoted in the Belize book, and it arrived fairly quickly.

Then, it was said I was quoted in the Costa Rica book. I think it took a bit longer, but there's no quote of mine in there. I did find a quote of mine in the Yucatan guide, but I wasn't mentioned as being quoted in that one.

Anyway, if the book you want has been published, you should have received it by now.

I also posted this on the Support &Suggest board. I will try to e-mail again.

I was quoted in Belize and Costa Rica. I requested 2 books and got them within a few weeks.

I would just e mail them.

I was quoted in the Guatemala book and requested the Italy guide. I got it in a few weeks. I did email Katie to get a time frame and the book came in the time frame she told me.

I was quoted in Belize and the book came within about 2 weeks. I was quoted in the Guatemala guide but haven't decided which new one to request yet, so it's taking quite awhile. :)

I was quoted in the Panama guide & haven't recieved it yet, that was probably 3wks ago....?

MichelleY-- I do apologize for the delay. I will go ahead and send you one myself as I do have a copy of that particular guide. I apologize for the wait! I will send it today and it should be there within 3 days.

Quoted in Puerto Vallarta, requested PV, & received it fairly quickly (this was months ago, but it came in just a couple weeks).
