WHERE TO STAY PLAYA DEL CARMEN
 

HI all-
The large, all inclusive resorts are not for us. Yet we
like a touch of luxury which translates to clean, great beds,
good location etc. Anyone have any ideas of where to stay
in Playa will be greatly appreciated.

Have you searched through Mexico Boutique Hotels? Differentworld.com? Locogringo.com?

We really liked Ikal del Mar. Beautiful, romantic rooms, excellent (expensive) outdoor restaurant.

Maroma for the beach, but pricey. Shangri La Caribe in Playa del Carmen. Don't know of any Luxury hotels comparable to Four Seasons type in Playa.
