Where to stay in Cabo

I am planning a trip to Cabo San Lucas in April with my boyfriend. We are looking for a nice hotel close to all the nightlife. We're looking for a "luxury" type hotel that we can walk to restuarants and bars. Any suggestions???

Dear Veda:

Pueblo Bonito Rose or Blanco, Melia, Villa del Palmar are upscale and close to the action.

Hi! If you want to be close to everything and have a luxury resort, you need to stay at Marina Fiesta. It is awesome, you are close to everything and the pool/swim-up bar is great:)

my experience was that you can't stay at a luxury hotel and stay in walking distance to the nightlife. all the real luxury hotels are on the strip between san jose del cabo and cabo san lucas. i stayed at the marquis los cabos, which was heavenly and worth the cab rides into the two neighboring towns. if you want to save some money, you can take a bus into town, but the schedule is unpredictable. marquis los cabos is a must if you crave absolute luxury. whatever you decide, hope you have a great time!

agree with hema -- if u want real luxury, you'll have to be out on the corridor, and drive to the nightlife.
Marquis is a wonderful choice, not quite as expensive as the other luxury resorts like Palmilla or Esperanza, but still plenty of luxury...
