Where to go in Argentina in June/July?

We'll be attending a wedding in BA in June or July. Where else can we go - considering that it will be their Winter and I don't want to go to the ski areas (too much bulky stuff to carry). We'll probably have 2-2/12 weeks, with +/- 5 days in BA. We were there 10 years ago (during their summer) and went to BA, Mar del Plata, Iguazu Falls and Bariloche. I wouldn't mind going back to Iguazu, but would like to see some other places - preferably less touristy but still interesting. Any suggestions??

Salta and Jujuy, the very north of the country. Amazing.

As Marta says, the North is beautiful. Try Catamarca, La Rioja, Salta, Jujuy and Tucumán. If you need any assistance on this, I´d be glad to help you.

Visit the North. I personally recommend the Quebrada de Humahuaca in Jujuy. Email me for more info.

I personally recommend the Iguassu Falls in the north. I went last January and everybody said it was better to go during the argentine winter. You´ll fall in love with them. Hire a private guide to get off the tourist track and enjoy!
