Where to eat in Merida?

We’ll spend a couple of days in Merida, as part of an organized tour of the Pen. Yucatan. For the 2 nights in Merida, dinner is not included in our package. We’ll stay at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, so I am looking for a couple of good restaurants in the neighborhood. Need to be within walking distance from the Hyatt.

We are a party of 3, so we are not looking for romantic restaurants, but good food at a decent price (let’s say around $25-30/per person). Any recommendations? Thanks

Amaro comes to mind good vibe courtyard setting.

Albertos more for fine dining also nice...

Both serve decent yucatanean fare...

TripAdvisor for other reviews some fake but most legit.

Happy Hunting,

It's been a few years, but I really enjoyed La Casa de Frida.
