where do 5 young at heart mid 40 yr. olds go for fun?
We are a group of about 45yrs old women who go on vacation every year. We want a fun place to go in Mexico that is fun and lively but that there are places for us to go and dance and party and not be surrounded by only 20yr old kids. we want to be close to the airport and on the beach
Thanks for any help!

I agree with Suze you will all have a ball!!! There is so much to do there and the town is full of fun places to go. Keep away from the Discos that is where all the younger crowds go. If you want a great hotel try the Marriott it is close to the airport and after 16yrs in P.V. I would have to say it's the best hotel there. The only problem is you will need to take a cab into town.
If you want to stay close to town I recommend the Sheraton it is within walking distance to town. Any more info you need email me [email protected]

What I like so much about PV is that it is a normal Mexican city alongside very nice tourist ammenities. It is not slick like Cancun, but has retained its heart and soul.
It is definitely not a 20 year old scene, I'm guessing the average age of visitors is more likely 40's (with some younger certainly but also many ex-pat retirees to balance it out).

Where do you live? I live on the east coast USA and getting to the west coast of Mexico can sometimes be quite a hassle.
We just went to the Riviera Maya, Mexico and had a great time. The Playa Del Carmen area would fit the bill for you.
