What is the best site or book to learn about retiring in Mexico

Trying to get recent information and most internet sites are selling outdated books, magazines or newsletters and I just want to educate myself and maybe even communicate with people who have made the move.

hey Dude beat me to it... that was my answer! Both of those BB's are active offer what you seem to be looking for.

On the Thorn Tree, there are few folks who moved from US/Canada to Mexico this year and posted their experiences each step of the way. Also people who moved years ago and reply with current local info or to share experiences.

I just typed "retire in Mexico" on a book search at amazon.com and got a long list that appeared current. Also local bookstores or the public library, I don't have specific titles but have noticed lots of info along these lines available both places.

There's a Pto Vallarta BB for people who love PV, many of whom live there or are planning to retire there or elsewhere in mexico. They can direct you to some info.
www.allvallarta.com

to get to the main page click on todo vallarta- there's even a retire in PV section.
