Welcome to the Green Season

This is what can happen when you are making plans on "how long" it is going to take to get from A to B .

So true! We left Bosque de Paz last year (in dry season) and immediately hit a major landslide. I was glad that Leo Rodrigues was driving and backing down that mountain, not me!

Impressive! I think qwovadis put it best, parts of Costa Rica float away.

My one and only trip happened to coincide with Tomas, even growing up in the Caribbean I had never heard it rain that hard for that long.

I believe it is open now. Not to say that tomorrow another spot might go bad. During this season you just have to check with locals before heading out and then drive carefully. Do not drive at night and it gets dark around 5:45-6pm. Most places that have trouble are opened as quickly as possible. Do not drive at night.
