Um, wait, I'm the navigator so I can't drink? I thought it was the driver who wasn't supposed to drink! LOL!
Thanks Percy. Yes, I'll be there too. Someone has to be in charge of cutting the limes. ;-)
Would love to see you there if you decide take a last minute trip!
Hope your starting to get at least some relief with your hand...

Me too, Percy. Here's "relief" to you! Cheers!
By the way girls, Mr. Shillmac wanted me to mention that he won't be available for bug busting!
Says it's time you two toughened up.
I can herd those little suckers, though.

Thank you ladies
Actually as I am typing this my right hand is tingly and the fingers are numb. .. just great
I see the Plastic Surgeon on June 5th...I know I developed Carpal Tunnel as a side effects to the exercises I HAD to do for my Dupuytrens surgery.
Anyway... just give me the phone number in Costa Rica and the date and like I said ,I am buying.!!

Percy, you're a sweetie! You and Tully need to get together and compare your hand woes. She's having a slow recovery also. It must be so aggravating. The hands, of all things.
Hard to fully appreciate the use of our body parts til we lose them for awhile!
We will, of course, take you up on that, if we think of it while we are there. That way, you'd sort of be there with us, in "spirits" so to speak!
We can ask if they'll accept the CC over the phone and Kim can e-mail you the number. We'll toast you, don't you know! Or ROAST you! That would be more fun. . . . .
You Canadians do know about roasts, don't you?

Hi guys,
I've been hanging out on the South America forum all week, and hadn't had much time to pop over to here. I'm glad to see that Percy has joined the party. It must be incredibly frustrating to have your hand out of commission! And tully is somewhat similarly afflicted too! Not fun!
I've started posting my Peru trip report if anyone is interested. I will remind you that I'm horribly long-winded in my reports. I always start out with the intent of keeping it short and sweet, and then quickly get caught up in sharing all the details and extolling all the virtues. Peru is turning out no differently, so I won't be at all offended if no one wants to wade through my novel. I will be posting a link to my photos there on my report once I finish getting them organized (hopefully this weekend).
The report is called "Just back from a wonderful Peru Adventure":

I'm working to get it all wrapped up so I can switch gears to CR!
Okay, you can now resume your regularly scheduled Costa Rica postings.

Thanks, Cam. It will be on my list of "things to read" tomorrow! You always make it fun and interesting. And Peru, well, how could it be boring?
Glad you're posting photos. Doesn't it take forever? Honestly, digital cameras are wonderful, but so darned time consuming! I get quite obsessive.

Percy sorry you are having so much trouble with your hand. I know it is irritating! Sounds silly but I never realized how much everyday things involve the hand until I couldn't use it. I hope you get better soon, I know the waiting is the hard part.
I am, despite all my gabbing, such a light drinker. If I have 2 daquiri's, and actually finish them both, the girls would probably find me sleeping it off by the pool. They better not leave me out there all night!
cam I'm off to read your report

Thanks tully...it is frustrating, I would not wish this condition on anybody.
But I am not the only person who has had Dupuytrens Contracture hand surgery.... somehow that does not make me feel better

Same for me Tully--such big talkers we are. I know when I talk about having an Imperial at 9:00 in the a.m. upon arrival in PJ people must think, "What a lush"! But no, I can't handle squat. I get tired of drinking in a big hurry. One beer is my limit. MAYBE 2 margaritas, but then I'm totally irresponsible!
Wine really does me in. . .
I think hip is going to have to be Mr. Shillmac's drinking buddy! LOL
