Iguana Tours is a reputable operator in the area. www.iguanatours.com The estuary tour is listed under "natural history". Have fun! Lisa in Manuel Antonio

We are also trying to decide if we want to do this. Traveling with three boys, 16, 14, 9. We have horseback tour planned in MA, but that's it. With two other days there, one being a Monday, should we do this?? Do you get off the boat anywhere? Thanks!

fiveholmes -- I have the same dilema. Can't decide either. We are doing the horseback riding with Finca Valmy on Monday due to the park closure and then have two more days. I was thinking of the Mangrove tour one day and the park the other. I do not think they stop anywhere along the way to get out. You wouldn't want to slosh around in the mangroves even if they did.

Mangrove tour is great - take road from Quepos toward Jaco - turn left after gas station [after crossing small x-railroad bridge] - drive out to end of road and up to dock on the water - they have great tours [can't recall name - sorry]
Another great tour is at Rainmaker - good hike, swim in crystal clear pool, sky bridges, good food, good people
enjoy!
