Weather in Chichen Itza in Feb?

How hot is it in Chichen Itza the last two weeks of February? Will cotton long sleeved shirts ,and pants coming just below the knee be suitable?
Also, does anyone going to Palenque need prevention medicine for Malaria? And how is the weather there?

In all my trips to Cancun and the area, I've never worn anything but shorts and short sleeved shirts. You won't need the long-sleeved shirts.

Nancy in Michigan is right (I am from Owosso!).

February is the beginning of the "seqquia" or dry spell. It will be hot as hell during the days but relatively dry. If you are outside at midnight you will need a sweater, but try to be in bed at that time and from 11-4 and enjoy all the rest.

Don't, if you can avoid it, find yourself on the top of a ruin at 2 p.m.
