Weather in Argentina late Oct?
 

I don't normally travel in late October or early Novemeber, but may have to . I'm thinking I'd really like to see parts of Argentina and maybe some of Chile. Would this be a good time as far as the weather is concerned? Or when are the best months to travel there?

Late October or early November would be a great time to visit Argentina. It will be in the Spring.

The worst time to visit in my view is in Jan.--too muggy and hot and central air conditioning is a luxury not available everywhere....

If planning to go to southern Argentina, consider splurging on the llao-llao, in Bariloche. Read the reviews on tripadvisor.com

For many BA citizens, January is the nicest month of the year to enjoy BA , not because of weather as it is usually the hottest one ( Cel. 30 +).
Why ? Well , as many Porteños leave for holidays the city is "almost all for you", not crowded, less smog and noise; restaurants, cinemas, theaters and shops will provide a much nicer and friendly service. Parks will be clean and in dowtown no rush.

February is similar .

On the other hand Argentinian holydays prefered places ( Punta del Este / Mar del Plata/ Bariloche ,Patagonia ; to mention 4 ) get crowded , expensive ,loosing their usual glamour.

Best months for holidays in summer , December/ March and April.

Thank you all very much for the replies. I suppose what I'm trying to decide is if it would be good to visit in late Oct , early Nov, when I have the time. or wait for another year and visit at a better time. Perhaps Dec. Maybe do something different in Oct, November and save Argentina for the optimum month to visit. Although, I must say, I'm not fond of really hot weather, so perhaps spring would suit me.

Oh boy, Llao Llao looks wonderful!! a bit out of my price range, but perhaps I could allow myself to splurge!
