Weather and Bugs in Puerto Vallarta

I have read reviews about the weather being hot and humid in the off months and mosquito's being bad in PV. Is it really miserable? I live in Dallas and am quite used to 100+ degree heat with humidity. I figure a cold drink sitting pool side will be much more relaxing than enjoyable than summers in Texas. My wife and I are going there in late June...thoughts?

Enjoy! Actually it will be cooler than Dallas but about as humid. I personally have never been bitten in PV other than by Time share Sharks. Smile!
