Visa for Brazil

Will be in Argentina and at the last minute thought about a 2 day stop in Rio on the way back to states. Can we get a visa for Brazil while we are in Argentina or do we have to get it here beforehand? As this is the last minute, we are wondering if anyone knows. Thanks so much for everyone's help!

I would advise checking with the consulate/embassy closest to you in the U.S. On the websites, it states that processing time for the visa is 5-7 days. Even if you can submit your applications while in Argentina ( which I doubt), the turnaround time probably won't be quick enough.
