Viejo Correo - milonga

I was looking for a milonga that is not touristy where I can go and watch the locals dancing and I can sit at a table with my husband. My preference is one that starts early.

I found on the web Viejo Correo in Caballito (Av. Diaz Velez 4820, Capital Federal). Milonga on Fridays starts at 6pm, so it sounds good.

However, I could not identify the place on the map. Where about is Caballito (as related to Microcentro)?

Also do you know this milonga and do you have any suggestions for any other similar ones?

Thanks for any advice.

Caballito is the area where the subte line A ends, in Primera Junta station.

See the other thread about the subte.

Viejo Correo is near Parque Centenario about 10 blocks from the lin A Gallardo stop.

I went there once with a group of visiting faculty from the United States. We had a great time. Most of the locals who go here are from the area. The dancing was not spectacular. It was more a place where people from the neighborhood went for a night out. Most were older but there were some very young couples in the mix as well.

We went after dinner about 11PM, I suppose...and the place was in full swing! Prices were very inexpensive (It is been two or three years since I was there, so I am sure prices have gone up...but probably still inexpensive relative to other options).

We had a hard time finding a taxi on the street...so we wandered back in and got someone to phone for a cab.
