victoria house / September

Has anyone stayed at VH in the honeymoon suite? is it worth the extra $ compared to the casitas?

Also, its been answered before, that september is the rainy season. But, would anyone book belize during september with out second guessing themselves? I really want to go, but dont want to be foolish.

How are the airplanes to san pedro...safe?
thanks!

I can't answer your questions about Victoria House, other than to say it looks absolutely beautiful.

We were in San Pedro for a week this past September. I think the only time it rained was while we were snorkeling, which certainly wasn't a big deal. It sure was hot though. The only down side to the trip was that September is really low season and several restaurants were closed while we were there. There were still plenty of choices, but it was a bit disappointing.

As for the planes, they're little, about 15 passengers, but they have good safety records and they offer absolutely stunning views on the flight over. If you're lucky, you might even get to sit in the co-pilots seat....

I prefer almost any of the accommodations at Victoria House to the casitas, though they are being upgraded. The villas are terrific.

What amenities does Victoria House have? Blow dryer, coffee maker, etc.?

I thought the casitas LOOKED great on the website and I liked the fact that they were there own bungalow as opposed to the "hotel" setting...do we know when they are being upgraded or have they been?

Casitas have been upgraded and the planes are safe and actually, give a great view of the land and sea below. Email VH and get details on room ameneties.
