Tulum weather late Oct?

Can anyone help me out with what the weather is like in Tulum in late Oct? How much rain and sun?

Also, we're looking for cabanas on the beach - not too rustic, not too hip or chic. Was looking at Copal (looks a bit too rustic), and I like the look of Azulik and Nueva Vida. Everything else seems motel-y from the looks of things.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, we have stayed in Nueva Vida three times and are returning Nov 20th for 10 nights. its somewhat rustic, like living in a tree fort cabin, nice ceramic tile floors, nice bathrooms and very clean, always had power, the owners are fantastic people, the beach is excellent if you head south you can walk for ever, we have gone off on two hour walks and two hours back, if you walk the beach topless as I do bring a small top in case you want to pop in somewhere for a drink, my husband carries a small back pack with water and shirts. After a few days of walks people we would see each day started inviting us for beers and drinks on the beach. Le Banana restaurant which belongs to Nueva Vida is excellent and super reasonable. The weather is excellent also in mid late October.

I am sure that you already knew this but just in case, October is still the huricane season.
