Tulum/Playa Boutique Hotel with AC

We are planning a trip to Tulum/Playa Del Carmen during the last month of June. We are looking for a cool boutique hotel with AIR CONDITIONING. Looks like many do not have AC. We would like to spend around $250/night. We stayed at Secreto in Isla Murejes and loved it. But want a change. Any suggestions?

Not really a boutique hotel per se, but in Tulum, I had to have A/C also, and we stayed at Los Lirios and really enjoyed it.

In Playa del Carmen, there are lots of new places. Deseo or Mosquito Blue would be boutique hotels with A/C. Deseo is most like Secreto.

Los Lirios is the only place with a/c in every room.
I know Ana y Jose (in Tulum) has one room with a/c - the owner's suite. Read they may have added a/c to other rooms...and it's more boutique-like.

Tulum doesn't have full-blown pole-power, any place with a/c is usually running it off a generator. Most places (well, those w/ electricity) have only solar/wind power. A few places do have ceiling fans.

Finding a place in PDC shouldn't be a problem. Look at differentworld.com and locogringo.com.
