Treehouse Hotels

Hello! This is my first post, so I apologize if I don't provide the proper information.

Basically, my husband and I are looking for some treehouse hotels in the rainforest of central or south america. I've been able to find some online information for some in Costa Rica, but I would love to have more that I can do some research on.

The only criteria I have at this point is that it I can stay in a treehouse, and that it is in the rainforest. I've heard good things about treehouse hotels in the Pacific Northwest of the US, but I would really love to head south.

If anyone has any hotel names or knowledge about anything like this I would love to hear it!

Thanks!

Not true tree houses but cabina/condos on stilts

pretty far from Arenal.net

personally would go for hotelmountainparadise.com

closer to the action better views less skeeters.

there is a TreeHousesInn is playasamara.net nicer

but still treehouse appearing condos on stilts

So shop around check reveiws carefully believe

the bad posted by recurrent visitors usually lots.

I should mention that I haven't personally stayed at that hotel, but it seems to get rave reviews. You would need a car if you stayed there.

personally might have a look at

lunalodge.com

lookout-inn.com

in www.corcovado.org

more jungly and tree house feel than the others.

Last fall the most tree housy place/vibe I have ever been

was in Ecuador www.bellavistacloudforest.com in a tree top

on top of a mountain surrounded by

150 species of hummingbirds it was awesome

Got discounts through www.Guanguiltagua.com

like$90 for my suite

Personally prefer SA in late summer and fall far less rain

CA lots less rain winter and early spring.

IMO you can't beat the Osa for the best rainforest experience in CR, paralleled maybe by by Tortuguero.

Check here:

That said, I definitely wouldn't limit myself to treehouse hotels just to have stayed in one. There are so many other fabulous choices.
