Travel agent for Argentina?

Can anyone recommend a good travel agent for travel in Argentina. We would like to spend approx 6 nights in BA, 3 nights in Bariloche at Llao Llao and 2 nights at Iguazu at the Sheraton.

We used Mercedes Garcia Torres at Argentina Escapes. Her e-mail is [email protected]. They have a web site with the same name. We stayed a total of 4 nights in BA and 3 nights at the Llao Llao and 2 nights in Iguazu, she booked everything for us and did an amazing job with our trip. I highly recommend her. Our vacation was perfect. (We also went to Ushuaia and Chile).

I highly recommend Alojargentina, you may contact Veronica Spina there, her mail is [email protected]. They have great rates at hotels and trips. She handled my case individually and gave me the attention I needed.

She did not just fit me into a package. She created one for me and at good prices too!

The agency also has a website www.alojargentina.com but I would contact Veronica directly, she's very polite and professional. I was also at Iguazú, Bariloche and Buenos Aires. Though I was also lucky to visit Calafate and Salta.

Good Luck on the trip!

We worked with Cintia at Wow! Argentina for our trip in May.

Cintia is a very efficient, organized and pleasant travel agent. She booked our hotel in Buenos Aires as well as the Sheraton hotel, airplane tickets, and transfers for the Iguazu Falls excursion. I highly recommend her. Kathy

We also used Cintia at wow!argentina and were quite happy with the package she arranged for us to Iguazu Falls. She was friendly and offered some good recommendations for our stay in BA that had nothing to do with the Iguazu Falls trip. She offered to meet us at our hotel in BA, but we went to her office because we were going to be passing it on way to sight see.

Here's another recommendation for Cintia. She arranged not only our hotels in BA but also to Llao Llao Resort and the Sheraton at Iguazu along with air connections. I can't imagine anyone being as good or better than Cintia.

We had a great time at those destinations and hope that you will as well.

I wrote a trip report about our time spent in Argentina. If you type WOW! into the search box it will come up.

Bali :
Donīt know much about good travel agents.
But surely doing some homework will help you when TA offer you their goddies.
As for Argentina and of my preference try:
www.welcomeargentina.com.ar ( bilingual)
thereīs another good one; AllaboutAr.com

I have seen many excellent threads on Fodors from people really trying to help.

I have used WOW, (Cintia) repeatedly and have been most pleased each single time. I go often to Argentina because I have two daughters that are living there but I live in the US. Both live in Buenos Aires but we take the opportunity each time we fly there to make a few days trip to other Argentinean, Brazilian or Uruguayan destinations. For me it is always a pleasure to deal with Cintia.

I worked with Maiten (Maita is great), they will work just fine.
I live in Buenos Aires and work with the tourism industrie (not travel agency) if you need a hint or two, let me know.
You will love Argentina.
ps: maybe only one night at Iguazu falls will do, then you can go to a Ranch or stay in Buenos Aires.
Good holidays!
