Hola SSN,
check out this website... http://www.sanpedroatacama.com/ingles/ there is also info about the transfer from Calama to San Pedro... it says you can request it online... |
The Licanbur van was 7000 or 8000 pesos, I seem to remember that they don't have an office per se in San Pedro. We ordered and paid for the return van at the same time. Also keep your receipt even if you don't do this as it had a phone number on it for ordering a van. I'd pay for a return ticket to be sure of a seat on the day you want. I was there in May, which was not crowded, but Feb. might be more so.

HelenofTroy & Huentetu:
Thanks for the information on the shuttle van. We still haven't booked our flight to San Pedro yet so couldn't make the booking yet. HelenofTroy: thanks for the spanish lesson, wish you live closer so I could learn more from you. Hotel Diego was not available on the dates we wanted. Will check on the tours next. Huentetu: did you like La Casa de Don Tomas? Is there anything we should be aware of? Thanks again, both of you. You've been a tremendous help. |
SSN, I'm glad we were helpful.... if you need anything just ask. I live in Santiago, so wish we could meet when you get here...
BTW what's your name? P.S. Lascar Volcano (near San Pedro) has some activity in these days... have you heard it? |
Hello HelenofTroy:
I thought you lived in Pantagonia. Since we will be coming to Santiago but not for long, I hope we will have a chance to meet too. Will let you know as the dates are near. What's new with Lascar Volcano? I haven't heard anything about it. Thanks, Suzie |
