Top Mayan Ruins to visit
 
Mayan history is shrouded in mystery. Who were these people that could interpret future through stars? Most of their secrets will never be revealed. Their pyramids, and stone cities have remained standing through ages and are dotted all around Yucatan peninsula. We set out to visit as many Mayan ruins as possible and here is our top 6 sites:

Xcaret, but not Uxmal (and the Ruta Puuc sites)? Or Palenque?

you are totally right, but we have not explored the other coast. These were all the sites within three, four hours of Cancun.

I've been fortunate to visit more than a dozen Mayan sites. I don't need your photos. I might have read your text, had you made it readily available, but it seems pretty clear to me that you are not an expert and I have no wish to add to your clicks. JMO.

The site is very slow loading and then freezes. Was unable to learn anything.
