Several good ones (I don't think we've had a bad meal in TS) but the restaurant we felt was really special was Restaurante Café Santa Fe. One of the two best meals we've had in Mexico and we've been to Mexico maybe 35 times.

Lot of Baja veterans drive up from Cabo just to lunch here.

These are the restaurants listed for Todos Santos in Fodor's most recent (2nd Edition) Los Cabos & the Baja peninsula guide. I happen to have one here since I was quoted a few times in it and they kindly sent me a free copy (lol)!

$$$ Italian - Cafe Santa Fe
$ Eclectic - Caffe Todos Santos
$$$ Eclectic - El Gusto!
$$ Mexican Los Adobes
$ Asian - Michael's
Mexican - Miguels (this was the starred 'Fodor's Choice' price range 'cents')

carol, here's a link from the chowhound site on Cafe Santa Fe ... http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/614311 ... the 2nd from last poster (BBY) really went overboard ("I actually think this may be the best Italian food outside Italy (and I live in NY.) The homemade pasta is made the way it is made in Bologna") but in general I agree with the comments.

From the chowhound link you can enter 'todos santos' in the search box at the top-right of the page and find several other restaurant suggestions too.

The one I'd avoid is at the Hotel California, which seems like a bit of a tourist trap because so many people come there thinking this is the place mentioned in the Eagles' song (it's not). Hotel California feels more like Cabo than Todos Santos to me ...

My favorite is El Gusto!, the restaurant at Posada La Poza. Pricey, but worth it.

Michael's has wonderful Asian food, mostly Vietnamese, but they keep such limited hours, open just three evenings a week.
