Time between Int'l flight and Interbus

I probably know the answer to this, but I thought I'd ask the experts. If my flight gets in at 1:50pm to SJO, should I even consider trying to make the 2:30 Interbus to Arenal?

There's no way to know for sure if it would be possible. The shuttles go around to several different hotels to pick people up, so 2:30 is an estimated time. The Hampton Inn complex across the highway from the airport is the last stop on the way out, but I would never chance being able to make it.

I agree with Jeff; you'd really be taking a chance. We had one trip where we were in customs and immigration for three hours because several planes landed at once and the line was snaking through the building. We've also had it take as little as half an hour. You really can't predict it. I wouldn't count on making it.

Thanks. That's what my rational side said too, but the gambler in me wanted to go for it. I'll hire a driver.

I wouldn't chance it either. With another hour, yes.
