Thermal resorts near BA or Montevideo?
 

Are there any thermal resorts that can be visited for a day from Buenos Aires or Montevideo? I haven't found any tourist literature on these, but did see some icons for thermal spas on a map of Agentina & Uruguay.

Any information is appreciated. Thanks!

the nearest to buenos aires are the ones in the province of entre rios. the city there could be Colon. If you are in Uruguay the thermal waters are in Paysandu. I will be going to a time share apartment there in 8 days.

if you go to those places you need at least 2 nights. i guess colonia is nearer Paysandu. but it must be 2 hs drive minim. the area is worth visiting so you can go round and see nice things especially if you cross to colon gualeguay where there is a big carnival in entre rios.
