The Iguazú Falls are back!!
According to today's leading local newspaper, our Iguazú Falls are back to their normal water volume, after the end of a period of drought in Brazil.

Thanks for the news, avrooster. I just started reading all of the great info on this forum. All of the posts have been SO helpful. I'm planning my first trip to Buenos Aires/Iguazu this month!
I just hope it doesn't rain during the Iguazu portion of our trip.

Thanks for your always helpful postings, avrooster.
Are you aware of an English language Buenos Aires newspaper site on the web? I've been unsuccessful in finding one.
I look forward to a return to Buenos Aires and Iguazu Falls next month. The increased water volume is very welcome news. I've convinced some Australian friends to include Iguazu in their itinerary and was dreading facing them if the water levels remained abnormally low. Thanks for turning on the faucet!
