The Caribbean Coast in September

I will be coming to the Caribbean coast in Sept for at least 2 possibly 3 weeks. I would like to know if the end of Sept. into Oct. would be better(weather wise) or the beginning of Sept.? Also has anyone stayed at Kaya's Place? More questions to follow.

I would go with the latter. Haven't stayed at Kaya's Place but not to far from there. Banana Azul - awesome.

I was there last October for three days and not a drop of rain.

Totally agree with hipvirgochick - Banana Azul is excellent. I actually only went there for lunch, but after looking around, decided it would definitely be my next place to stay in Puerto Viejo. It is about 2 km from town so walkable or a short taxi ride and very quiet and beautiful with great food.
