Temperature in November in Santiago?

We are flying into Santiago the
19 of november and staying three
nights., and then taking a cruise
around cape horn, and with a lot
of stops in the area. Finally
arriving in Buenos Aires, any
orientation about the temperature,
and what kind of cloth to take.
Thank you.

Thank you for your advise.
So, do you think it will be
intelligent to take a leather coat.?

We were in Santiago last November. The temperatures were very pleasant for our four days: highs in the mid 20s as mentioned. My wife used a light jacket in evenings and early mornings, I did not bother. It can get hot. We met cruise passengers in Valparaiso, older men in shorts, looking rather odd in the 15 C temperatures on the coast. Appearently it was very hot in Santiago and they did not count on the cool Humboldt current. Down south it will be cooler.

Yes, it is good to remember that temperatures vary depending on where you are. On the coast it is always cooler than inland in the spring and summer. Buenos Aires is about the same temperature as Santiago at that time of year.

Thank you for the advise.
I am taking a jacket and maybe
a windbreaker for the ocean cruise.

Bring warm jackets for the cruise - it gets cooler as you go further south.
