Tell me about Bolivia
I'm planning on studying abroad next fall and I'm considering two similar programs through the School for International training in two rather different places: Nepal and Bolivia. So before I make my decision I ask you to help me by sharing your thoughts about Bolivia, your experiences there, what you love or hate about it, whether or not it would be a suitable place to study abroad in for an anthropology student, etc... If you've been to both countries feel free to compare!
Thanks! |
I would describe Bolivia as the country of contrasts... jungle and desert and rich aand poor in the same geographical site... Indians with their cultures accepting the Christianism and mixed in a colourful Synchretism...
It is beatiful... Cochabamba is wonderful in August... LA PAZ, Copacabana, Santa CRUZ! the rich area of Bolivia...jungly and green. Bolivia is amazing! Copper skin men and black eyes, blonde and pale faces, friends and enemies... lords and slaves. I admire Bolivia. Flintstones. |
