Taxi to Playa del Carmen
 

Does anyone know what the price would be? Since there are 3 of us spliting the cost, i thought that would be easier.

It would help if you said where you were coming from, because that really does affect the price of the ride!

also price will be different depending where you are going to-if its the city proper-a taxi will cost about $60(could be a little more for three), the bus is $7 per person-this will take you to the main teminal in PLaya. From there you can either walk or take a taxi. You could also take a shuttle van-cost is $18 per person. Hope this helps

check out playadelcarmeninfo.com, they have info on transportation to/from pdc==taxis, buses, etc. As previous poster said, taxi is about $60 US

There is a comfortable air-conditioned express bus that runs every 30 or 45 minutes from the airport to PDC. Can't recall the bus line name but just walk out the terminal where the taxis are and turn right. At the far end of the terminal is the bus - don't buy tix at the counter inside as they add on a few $$. If I recall correctly the fare is about $7 one way and RT tix are about $11. Cabs are conevenient but we waited only ten minutes or so for the bus to get on the road and it left us in the center of PDC near the ferry terminal.

The bus from the Cancun airport to Playa del Carmen is Riviera. I have found the price to be the same if you buy from the Riviera counter as you leave the international arrival area (it is on your left). It is usually a little cheaper, as is most everything, if you pay in pesos rather than dollars.
