Tauck Tours

Considering a seven day Tauck Tour to Costa Rica. The hotels include the Tijalari Resort, Hotel Monteverde Lodge and Tortuga Lodge. Any thoughts on these hotels or Costa Rica in general would be appreciated.
Thanks!

We haven't stayed at any of those hotels so can't help you there, but Costa Rica is a wonderful country - very diverse, beautiful, wildlife and fauna that you won't see anywhere else, mostly unspoiled and filled with very friendly people. Great destination.

We have taken Tauck tours. They are well regarded. Their hotels are usually top notch. That's what you pay for.

Where does the tour actually start? Does it start IN Costa Rica and Tauck will assist you in arranging flights or does it start in, for ex., Miami and the flight is included as part of the price (with you making your arrangements for getting to Miami)? I'm asking for a reason.
