Tambor Airport to Montezuma Taxi Fees?

Anyone know what a taxi for 2 people is charging between Tambor and Montezuma (Sano Banano to be exact)? I'm assuming they're fairly easy to get outside the airport...
Thanks!

You probably should arrange your transfer with El Sano Banano. They will arrange for a driver to pick you up and return you to the airstrip.

Tambor is an airstrip in what looks like a pasture on the beach! No airport.

dfarmer is correct: it's an airstrip, not an airport.

Taxi is US$25 each way. It's about a 20 minute drive.

We don't arrange in advance, because it's so easy to catch a taxi on arrival. And even if no taxis happen to be waiting, the guard in the Tambor Resort booth right there will call one for you.

You probably know this already, but once you get to Sano Banano, it takes an additional half hour to get their ancient Range Rover to come in and take you back out to the bungalows. Arrival and departure transfers are free.

You're gonna love SB. Don't miss the fabulous avacado sandwiches for lunch at the restaurant. With a couple of cold cervezas, and a nap afterwards, you will think you have arrived in heaven.

Just checked the cost for our transfer, prearranged with Sano Banano, and it too was $25 each way. So this must be the going rate.

Have fun, great place.
