Taca Airline

Greetings All:

My wife and i will be traveling Lima to Buenos Aires and are considering TACA air for this part of our journey.

As we will be away from home for several months, I expect that our luggage to be much more than the 20 Kg checked and 8 kg carry on that Lan Peru seem to allow.

TACA allow a generous 50 pounds of checked and 22 pounds of carry on.

Can anyone please comment on TACA safety, service, reliability or any other input?

Thanks,

Woody

I used TACA to go from Houston to Roatan and back. The aircraft was new and clean and the flights were on time.

TACA was great although they get bad time slots at the airport so our flight departed at 5:00 a.m. - but there was no security line at the airport

hiya, have used it quite regularly as option from Lima to Rio and has always been fine, mostly on time and good. No major probs at all, go for it.
