Suite Hotels in BsAs?
 

Are there any suite hotels In BsAs similar to Embassy Suites, Homewood Suites, Staybridge Suites, Comfort Suites, Summerfied Suites, Residence Inns & dozens of other stateside chains that offer multiple rooms, full kitchens, laundries & other amenities (some with gyms, breakfast, computer rooms), and a staffed front office that can help with directions, information, transportation & the like?
We stay in suite hotels stateside whenever we can and are looking for the closest analogy in BaAs. Comfort, not luxury, is our priority.

I stayed at Loi Suites Recoleta which is a bit of a hybrid. The kitchen is a small area which is on one side of the single room. There is a gym, a dining room (breakfast is included and is quite good), a spa for massage, a pool, and free internet access in the computer room. The location was excellent for me.

I will second LoiSuites Recoleta--great location, helpful staff and very nice room...also great variety for breakfast. We were there several years ago and not sure how it works now, but booking through a BA travel agent got us a better rate than what we could find on our own.

The Loi Suites is in my current neighborhood which happens to be one of the best as far as proximity to restaurants and tourist sights, as well as a good safe area to walk around late at night..
We stayed at the ArtSuites last fall, this is what they call an Aparthotel..you pay by the night but they are small apartments..we had a top floor, with balcony .. living room, small kitchen, bedroom, walk in closet and nice bath, and daily continental breakfast for about $110 a night.
And the staff is great..this is located in Barrio Norte, which is about 7 blocks from Recoleta Cemetary..
But for your big American sort of suite hotel, you might like the Loi Suites better..

For a less expensive altenative, we liked Torre Cristoforo Columbo suite hotel in Palermo near the American Embassy. Bedroom, walk-in closet, bathroom, living/dining room, small but equipped kitchen. Breakfast included. We paid about $50 a night, but that was more than a year ago. Booked through one of the booking services, I think byte argentina (?). Fine location.

You might try either the Art Suites (different from the Art Hotel) - www.artsuites.com.ar or the Ayres de Recoleta Suites www.ayresderecoleta.com both of which have very nice versions of, it sounds like, what you're looking for.
