Spas in Mexico

Can anyone recommend a spa in Mexico that is on the beach? Nothing extravagant, just somewhere quiet and relaxing. Thanks.

First one that pops in my head is the Aventura/Spa Palace in the Mayan Riviers (fly into cancun, about 45 min South) check out palaceresorts.com and you can see what's it's all about.

Thanks for your response. I was looking for something on the small, intimate scale, more like a boutique resort. The Aventura Spa Palace looks overwhelming large for my taste.

Hi,
The maya Tulum Resort is a spa. It has 44 cabanas and has been in may spa magazines. The offer a plan that would include meals yoga and spa treatments or you can just book a room and then do what you would like.

You might also want to check out the ElDorado Royale Resort and Spa, just north of Playa Del Carmen. Be sure to look at the ROYALE because there is another one called ElDorado Resort and Spa but is further south by Tulum. Royale is much nicer, excellent rooms, very good food, and the spa looked very nice. We really enjoyed this resort. You should consider it.
