Spanish and Surf Lessons Costa Rica

Hi Guys

After the success of my last post, I am hoping this will spark some interest.

I am wanting to do a 4 week or so spanish course, with some surfing thrown in during the afternoon's. I'll be in Costa Rica mid Feb to mid March. Does any one have any tips? Good spanish schools, language and surf packages vs lessons seperate to surf?

Thanks a lot WT2009

There used to be a language school in Dominical, also good for surfing, not sure if appropriate for beginners. The school, if I remember correctly, had 2 campuses: Turrialba and Dominical. You might do a little google work and see what you can turn up.

There is a good language school (CPI) at Playa Flamingo, but you'd have to travel a bit to surf--30 minutes or so to Tamarindo. I doubt that is what you have in mind.

Thanks Shillmac. Looking for something in Tamarind so we can have surfing at hand. Surfing okay in Tamarind?

Some of the best, I understand. Surely there is a language school there as well. Just google it. Something will turn up. . .it's a popular area.

I've heard good things about Wayra. . .you might look into it. I had forgotten its location was Tamarindo.
