Snorkeling in Late Sept.

HI! I will be on my belated honeymoon to (Guanacaste mostly) Costa Rica in late September. Should we bother bringing our snorkeling gear? Any thoughts on where to go snorkeling? Thanks! Sarah

Check out Bill Beards diving trips. I know you won't be diving but there are some reports on what people have seen. Up around the Catalina islands near Flamingo there is a good bit of diving and snorkeling. CR is not really known for super good diving or snorkeling but there can be some exciting things to see. It is not pretty blue, clear water like you would see on the Caribbean islands.

Thank you! I guess if the snorkeling equipment fits, we'll bring it! We will only do carry on to avoid checking bags. Do you know anything about doing laundry in CR? Thanks! Sarah

I always have my laundry done at least twice while I am there. Shouldn't be a problem.

Thank you! I am assuming you have it done from your hotel. Sarah

This year I also dropped it off at a laundromat in Fortuna.

Even better! Thanks! Sarah
