small group tours

My husband does not want to experience Costa Rica driving, can anyone suggest small group tours (I had read of Vargas tours, but couldn't find them with a search)

Hopefully Percy will see this as he seems to know about Vargas Tours.
Many answered my questions about Vargas Tours and our group will contact them via the e-mail that Percy gave.
Thanks everybody

Hi There

....oops something happened and my reply posted too soon!!

So let me start again:

The website for the Vargas Tours is very new .

Here is the website:
ricardocostaricatours.com

Now when you get to their main webpage
then you can click on:
1. "About Us"... to learn about them

2.Next click on "Gratitudes" ,where Lupita ThAnks all those who come to Costa Rica.

3.Click on "ENTER" and a list will come up giving all their tours and the prices.

Just click on the name of any tour that you want to know more about.

The website that "papagayo" gave you is not the Vargas Tours website but they are affiliated !

I can give you all the info you might want about the "Allegro%" tours which is under Michael Mills.

See my answers to the posting title "Vargas Tours".

I will bring it to the top for you.

Percy

Percy:

I had e-mailed Ricardo & Lupita several days ago as per your kind suggestion relating to transport from Liberia to Arenal/Monteverde and other tours but no reply. Have also sent them a reminder but no response.

Based on the recommendation of a close friend, we have booked a small group tour to Costa Rica in March offered by Overseas Adventure Travel. Their web site is www.oattravel.com, and our tour is detailed at: http://www.oattravel.com/gcc/general...d=77914urutrue se roup

I also e-mailed Lupita yesterday and no answer yet

She must be busy.

She always answers within a couple of days.

You can phone her also, the phone call is not expensive
(506) 670-0790 , Cell is (506) 385 4312

When I went to the Galapagos 18 months ago, I was dealing with a Travel Company in Quito Ecuador,we sent me ail back and forth, then I just decided to call them.

It was so nice hearing an actual voice.

If you do call her , tell Lupita you were talking to me...she knows me very well.

Percy:

Lupita responded and I have what we needed for our trip. I have decided not to rent a car and use them instead, mostly on your recommendations. Many thanks.

You are in good hands with Lupita and Ricardo and their group.

When I left last month,Lupita and Ricardo said to me , "anybody you send to us, just tell them to mention your name and for sure we will look after them."

They are very very nice people.

I did many tours with them.
I also sat in the front seat of the van with Ricardo all the time ..an added bonus !!

17 days sound like a nice duration of time to move from one place to the other.

Let us know all about it when you return.
