Should we cancel our trip to Guatemala?

Six adults are booked to visit Guatemala City, Tikal, Antigua and Lake Atlitan. Cannot get definitive answers about the conditions, roads, availability of supplies, etc. WOuld appreciate hearing from anyone who's been in October. Thanks!

Just back from Gautemala. We arrived on 14th October and went to Antigua and Tikal. We were supposed to go to Lake Atitlan but unfotunately couldn't get to that area at the time so we just cut that area out of our itinerary. We had a great time. The weather was perfect, the roads in the areas we were in were fine and we had no problems at all as a result of the landslides. No probelms with supplies or road conditions in Antigua or Tikal. To be honest, you really wouldn't know that anything had happened there.
In relation to the Lake Atitlan area, I am not sure how things will be now. I think they expected roads to the lake area to be reopened by 25 October or so. They are very resourceful and were working very hard when we were there, so I would say that you very possibly will be able to make it to that area too. Have a great trip. We certainly did!!!
