semi-private tour of city (Small group)

We were looking for a 1/2 tour preferably with walking and transportation. All I have seen talked about on this board are private tours or large tours(possibly over 20 people). Can you recommend a 1/2 General Tour of the city that would have a small amount of people maybe up to 6-10 people max.
on their tour?

travelmemories:

Guess you refer to BA. if so, I have recommended many times in Trip Advisor Eternautas, BUT have read lately that they are charging HUGE bucks to USA travelers...I am not sure about that ..buts "fishy" so check prices before ...Thy are supposed to be nice, very knowledgeable and serious....
I have had good coments from US visitors I toured yesterday (Jan. Friday 20 th. /06)in my boat to the Delta islands and Tigre city. Guess the name they gave me was Buenos Aires antiguo guides....

I was refering to Buenos Aires. Eternautas has mainly private tours. Eternautas has also larger group tour, not 6-10 maximum.
Are there any other companies that we could join that have small group city tours for a 1/2 day?

I'm starting to put together a list of small, private sorts of tour operators and other services for visitors and longer term folk on my website at saltshaker.net (Santi and Av, you should send me your info so I can include your stuff, if you'd like).

Sorry, Dan, but, as you well know, my tour is not for everybody. A frequent poster asked me sometime ago for data to include my tour in a book or magazine article and I refused.

The idea is that my tour is only for people who are ready to go to the trouble of doing research about it on their own and are willing and able to reciprocate, if I ever travel to their town.

I wrote a post on tripadvisor.com, which was deleted by their distinguished censors, in which I said, among other things, that during the Thanksgiving period I had to turn down some requests, because I could not handle them all.

I don't want that to happen again, so I have to keep the number of requests low. Thank you for your offer.
