Secrets Capri or Valentine Imperial Maya

Stuck between the following two resorts:

Secrets Capri or Valentine Imperial Maya

which has a better beach with more to do?

I haven't been to either, but if you read the reviews on tripadvisor, several people mention that the beach at Secrets isn't so great.

If your wanting a great beach than Secrets Maroma would be the better choice.

I haven't been to Capri, but have been to Imperial Maya. Imperial had a nice beach and a lot to do. For us, the reason we picked Imperial Maya was that it's bigger and has a bigger pool area - I know you didn't ask about that - but that was important to us. Capri seems smaller and that didn't appeal to us. Imperial Maya was a great resort. Had really good food and great service. I would go back. Maroma sounds great too, but is much more expensive.

We were at Secrets Capri two years ago. We loved everything about it except the water. The beach is nice but when you enter the ocean the bottom is "slimy" or "gooy". This year we went to Secrets Maroma. Liked the ocean way better. Beautiful beach and when you go into the ocean the bottom is sandy.
