Dear Mike,
I can't thank you enough for the trouble you are taking. I emailed Jennifer at Vacation Homes San Miguel and she was kind enough to email back the address. Casa Lorraine is at:
Callejon del Cardo No.9 Interior No. 5
Your help and input is much appreciated. Any info you can provide about the security, noise level, and any thing else you think relevant would be so helpful. Thanks!
Wendy

Hi Wendy,
I went by C'jon del Cardo #9.
It's a small gated community of 8 houses all of which are nicely maintained. The is a large courtyard/atrium and plenty of off street parking.
Quite a few of the houses on the street are being remodeled, but the noisy deconstruction looks complete and it was very quiet this AM.
It's a pretty decent maybe 20 min walk from this house to Centro Bilingue, but it's through the park and and the civic center up Chorro/Barranca/Murillo to Correo.
There is a decent 2 page street/barrio
map at www.abrahamcadena.com which you may find helpful.

WLS,
It sounds like you have some other options but I am curious...did the owners tell you that there were only 2 beds or did you infer that from the photos? Both times I stayed there the upstairs bedroom had a king size bed and also a twin bed/ day bed in the room. There was also a twin size day bed in the downstairs master between the bedroom and bathroom. Also many of the king size beds in Mexico are actually 2 twins put together. Just wondering if the set up has changed in the last year or so. Good luck with your house hunt.

kwil: Sorry if my assumptions were misleading. I did make my comments based on the photos and written description.
Thanks for the name of vacation homes san miguel. We are awaiting an email response now from Jennifer confirming our rental of Casa Lorraine through that agency.
