San Jose Hotel Recommendation
 
Can anyone recommend a hotel in San Jose for a family of 5 (kids are 22, 18, and 14.) We need either a large suite or two rooms.

We stayed at the Las Orquideas Inn in Alajuela, not far from the airport. We loved it and would definitely stay there again. I know that people on this board recommend the Don Carlos in San Jose.

The Hotel Don Carlos is in a great location if you want the city. They will know how to accomodate your family and the value is very good.

Las Orquideas is hard to beat for the airport area!

Have you searched using [san jose hotel] here, on Fodors? A similar question was answered recently. You'll also find collateral info on restaurants, if that is helpful while you stay there.
